I think this used to be posted on the GK forum. Here is the GK3 Resource Browser to open the BRN files from the game.

I downloaded it and found something the older GK3 browser I use doesn't show: a ZIP file called VIEWER_RESOURCES.zip. Extracted and examined: it contains numerous files: BMPs of cursors and textures, several files named default.something, among them ANM, ACT, SCN and RPT files, a MOD file, and an AVI file.
Neither video would play with my VLC, so I uploaded them to the higher authority: Youtube. Don't laugh, it's worked before, when I did the Elk Moon Murder walkthrough. It didn't work on the mod, but it did on the AVI:

OK so it's not exactly a new GK3 ending or GK4 announcement but I do really wonder what all this is.

Someone can correct me, but isn't that a part of the ... aw, freak - what is that test called... not DIVX... the other thing... the Microsoft one...

At any rate it's in Day1.brn, and the same zip contains some very primitive cursors (the pointer is little more than a triangle and the looking glass is easily misinterpretable (all that LSL is bad for ladies like me), and this texture. And some other textures but those are all one colour.

I am not mocking you. The spinning cube (it happens so quick) almost resembles the spinning cube when you do a DXDIAG test! I was thinking of DIRECT X. But it's not the same. See, this is what I was thinking of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZYoO32C ... re=related

Found an interesting HTML (SIDNEY) page: Black_Wolf_Letter.html contains one of the GK2 letters. Why would it be in GK3, is it accessible? Someone must've gone through the trouble of converting the letter to HTML: who and why?

That's about it though, I think.
