This has started to make the rounds. The linked post is supposedly started by the real Chris Jones. I guess we'll know more on the 20th.

No comments, eh? I thought that there were some Tex fans around here. Anyway, we could be getting a new Tex Murphy game.

Oh I'm a fan and they WILL get my money, no doubt about that!
I just hope they will keep the gritty graphic look, that's what Tex is for me anyways... lol

It does need a Noir treatment.

Kind of curious to know what kind of funding they're looking at and what medium. Double-Fine went into this with the intention of making a 2D adventure. The costs of doing Tex Murphy as an FMV game would be significantly higher. Still, I'm down for a sequel. The series didn't quite end on the best note after all.

I'm a huge fan!
It would be awesome to see a new Tex Murphy's adventure, especially after Overseer's finale.

Talk to coffee? Even Gabriel isn't that addicted!

Are you referring to Overseer's ending, the radio play ending or the quality of Overseer?Datadog wrote:The series didn't quite end on the best note after all.
Anyway they'll definitely get a kickstart from me!

I thought "Overseer" on its own was a great game. An interesting re-imagining of "Mean Streets", that's for certain. But the last ten seconds are one of the worst ways you could end any canceled series.
