Force Windowed Mode on WinXP

Post by DeadPoolX »

I'm wondering if there's a way -- barring additional programs -- that allows someone to force a into windowed mode. I've already tried "-w, -win & -window." None of those seem to work. I've checked the "ini file" as well and nothing changes after modifying it.

The game in question is called Culpa Innata (I ranted about the poor resolution in the "Things That Annoy You" thread). Due to the antiquated graphics used, Maia and I have read that the game looks marginally better on a smaller monitor. For reference, Maia is using a 22" widescreen LCD monitor.

We've read that the largest monitor it looks good on is a 19" and since we don't have that readily available at the moment, we need to go from full screen to windowed mode. This game may not offer native support to do such, but I'm sure there must be a way.

I don't think that you are going to find a universal solution, as many games over ride Windows standards. MoE allowed you use the standard, if you edited a config file to add an entry of "allow Alt+Enter".
