Subtitles

As far as you know, are there English subtitles in the game? I just purchased it and I fear that, without subtitles, I'm gonna loose some words of the dialogues...

Yes, it has closed captioning. The very beginning VMD movie does not, however. Fortunately, there is only a little dialog at the end of the clip. Don't forget, this is one of the games that I have a DOSBox installer for.

Collector... Downloading your installer was the first thing I did after purchasing the game! :D

Thanks for the clarification, now I really can't wait to play it!

It is a fun game. Like so many of the Sierra games that are a little more geared to children, Torrin's is fun for adults, too.

I reckon that Tawmis loves it. As you know, I'm not much into lighthearted games, but this one have a feeling, from the screenshots... Well, I don't know but I'm quite sure that I'll like it ;)

Oh, it's got its dark side, too, as you will see from the opening.

The optional subtitles in Torin's Passage were a welcome feature. If a game with voice acting has subtitles, I personally find it a little more convenient to have them all appearing at the bottom of the screen instead of hopping all around the screen, appearing over character's heads. (Unfortunately, Adventure Game Studio doesn't have a built-in option for that particular type of "bottom of the screen on a semi-opaque background" speech. *sulk*)
