Here's a query for you:

In an agenda (for Dutchies: Rabobank Kunstagenda, year possibly 1996) I found a beautiful painting of a cellist with the most wonderful facial expression. He now graces my wallpaper.

It's from an agenda I found in the giveaway store, and the previous owner ripped out all pages with agenda data save one. This means that for several paintings I don't have the name of the maker or painting. In this particular case I'd really love to know who made it. Does it look familiar to anyone out here? Do any of the Dutchmen here happen to have this agenda?

Currently using this Boston pic for my wallpaper. It's been a while since i've been "in town"....don't even recognize some of those buildings. I worked in some of the others though. Used to hop on the bus and be in work in 15 minutes.

Just brushing it up with this and the original Fort Boyard (which I watched already back in the early 90s)... I was good at French in school but after a year of college it fades so easily!

Ah makes sense. I prefer to watch it in Japanese with English subtitles. (although I don't have much choice, no Frysian subtitles or dubbing ;)
My French faded into oblivion since middle school :)

My desktop theme has now 13 Howl pics, 1 sleeping Gabriel and 4 Paris pictures. Made an animation of them.

These are all screenshots of A Vampire Romance, a Hidden Object game that's rather silly but has a nice setting. The Trocadero parc looks great but I might delete the Notre Dame one, considering the game's love interest just looks way too creepy.

Added a couple of breathtaking shots from The Wind Rises and a not pictured yet ridiculously cute picture of a polar bear cub.

New addition:

Very nice photo I found of the concert I attended: I love how the guitarist's red stands out and I love the adorable expression of the singer, and I'm pretty recognisable on it as well! (bottom right)
