Apparently so! I was cleaning and found these signed by Al Lowe -
Where he says it's his favorite!

How awesome is it to have signed copies.
Re: Al Lowe's favorite?
If you ever sold them (outside of to me) I would break your arm, but I wonder how much you could get for them on eBay?

That's pretty damn cool. Unfortunately, I don't think you'd get that much for them, considering the fact that relatively few people know of the classic Sierra Adventure Games and even fewer know who Al Lowe is.Collector wrote:If you ever sold them (outside of to me) I would break your arm, but I wonder how much you could get for them on eBay?
Still... it'd only take one person to want them really bad.

Have you seen what prices are for some of the old Sierra classics? Granted these are not some of the pricier games, but many of the Sierra classics have become collectors items.DeadPoolX wrote:Unfortunately, I don't think you'd get that much for them, considering the fact that relatively few people know of the classic Sierra Adventure Games and even fewer know who Al Lowe is.

I realize that. However, my question still stands: "How many people even know of the Sierra classics?" The answer is not that many. Since relatively few people know of those games, the number of collection seekers who bid to own those items is diminished.Collector wrote:Have you seen what prices are for some of the old Sierra classics? Re: Al Lowe's favorite?
This was in 2007 that he did this. I asked if he would mind signing them (just the box itself) - and he said as long as I paid S&H both ways - he'd be more than happy to! So I imagine if you dropped him an email and asked, he'd probably do the same for anyone. As long as they didn't send 50 copies of his games (as flattered, as I am sure, he would be).
I specially asked for those three (my two favorite LSL games, and my favorite Al Lowe game, Torin's).

...and i'll go for the neck. So, considering the options, Tawmis better just keeps them .Collector wrote:If you ever sold them (outside of to me) I would break your arm, but I wonder how much you could get for them on eBay?
Concerning the price, i'd estimate they'd go for around $100. A few years ago, there was an original copy of Mystery House, signed both by Roberta and Ken, and that one went for slightly over $300. These days, it would go for more than that.
How much would MCL, signed by Al Lowe, go for?

Just in time, Collector. Rudy shall be grateful, 'cause I was bringing forth the fwet-kash, the ku-bha-sa and the sekey madoule... Should we try to fit him in nonetheless?

Re: Al Lowe's favorite?
I think Al Lowe would subject Rudy to Larry Laffer's "best" pick up lines for several hours for that comment.
