Pointclicking: Adventure Game Illustrations
Pointclicking: Adventure Game Illustrations
Hey everyone,
Newcomer to the forums. Registered after seeing this forum linked on @LarryLaffer's twitter account. Wanted to start off by showing you the adventure game illustration series I started last year. I'm up to 66 games so far, a number of them Sierra games.
This is a real passion project for me and I always hope it gets in front of more adventure game fans. Hope you like it. See the rest of the Sierra ones here.
Also, as the biggest resource on Sierra games what game should I do next? I'm trying to pick one, and would actually kind of love tackling a really obscure one. I'm thinking of maybe Manhunter: New York, but maybe someone has a better suggestion.

Welcome to the forum, Jonkk. Your illustrations are truly inspired: I followed the link hoping your already did Gabriel Knight and I was not disappointed. I'm particularly fond of this one:
Of course, as my suggestion, I would really like to see GK2!

Talk to coffee? Even Gabriel isn't that addicted!

They're wonderful! Great job!
For suggestions... ehm... Freddy Pharkas, Frontier Pharmacist has a very colourful cast.

These are fantastic! I'm really digging the Bonds/Bains shootout one.

Thanks everyone! So glad you liked them. My twitter name is @jonkristinsson. I'll repost all the Sierra ones.
Also, Gabriel Knight 2 and Freddy Pharkas are now on to-do list. Gotta do some research for GK2.. haven't actually played it..

Re: Pointclicking: Adventure Game Illustrations
These are great! Such a charming style! I'm especially fond of the KQ3 one where Gwydion is trying to handle the chicken while Mannannan watches. And I rather enjoy the flying pimp hat in your PQ1 illustration.
If you're taking requests, maybe something Cedric-related from King's Quest 5?

Thanks! The PQ one is one of my favorites. Action-packed. And not remembering the end I had to look up a Let's play of it to read the text surrounding it to figure out what the hell actually happens in that scene..
Yes! Cedric in KQ5 is on them list now. Damn owl..
Tawmis, thanks for the LarryLaffer post!
Also, was checking out the screenshot guessing thread and discovered loads of Sierra adventures I didn't know of. They went straight on the list too.
This list is too big now. :-/
