You realize that he released the source to PoP. http://jordanmechner.com/blog/2012/04/source/

Thanks Collector, but I wouldn't know what to do with it I'm afraid.

Just bought a Hidden Object game about Bonnie & Clyde.

The source may not mean anything for directly, but opens the door to things like a modern interpreter for the game. Given that it is almost more of a side scroller than an adventure means that it would probably never be added to ScummVM, but other developers could do something with it. Other possibilities would be for fans to be able to create extra levels or mods.

Fans of Prince of Persia seem to have created quite a few mods and custom levels already.

I think that was the point of saying "2013 seems as good a year as any to finally tackle this."

I do. I've always felt dumb for buying both Diablo 2 and the Expansion set at full price more than a decade ago and then never playing past the 2nd act. I figure it's finally time to put those demons to rest and maybe kill a mouse or two in the process :)

Ah! Good man! Diablo's pretty stubborn coming back time and time again.

It's how most women feel about Larry Laffer; he keeps coming back after them.

The Public Enemies HO game I'm playing is even worse than the Paris one! (vows never to fall for it again)

A while ago I thought I'd play all those Sierra games that y'all love but I don't know yet, so that's when I started playing Laura Bow, and now I'm at King's Quest VI. Mind you, I'm not really advancing and I vowed not to look up any solutions.

Oh, and inbetween moments I'm really appreciating the Blocks With Letters On series. Logic puzzle + word game + silly humour = game for me!

King's Quest VI is one of my favorite games. It really shows Jane Jensen's hand in the narrative and dialog. The Logic cliff puzzle is the copy protection part of the game. It is really a manual check, but I found it to be one of the least irritating ones because they turned it into part of the game play and a fun puzzle.

It's frustrating for me since my KQ6 copy came with my Roberta Williams Anthology, which was a snip at a second-hand shop in the town of Best; but it doesn't have any of the manuals. Had to find one on-line.

I was pre-informed about the coins, justlike I'm pre-informed about the pie in KQ5. Went through the Catacombs without help, fought the Minotaur, paraded on and found myself in the Land of the Dead without coins. Grumble. So I'm starting again. Game sure is addicting, and the Catacombs really remind me of the mound in GK1. They're pretty cool!

I remember being obsessed with a couple of the puzzles the first time I played it.
