Hi Tawmis,
Yeah, Tandy1000 is quite an old machine :)

Ok, so today, I came across this 'Sierra' title.
Got it for about 0.50$ so I couldn't really resist, even though I don't consider it to really be worth anything and not even a proper Sierra Larry adventure game as we know it.
(Haven't played it yet though)

Lost In Time, CD, in box. Was very happy with that until I walked out the shop, found my front tire was flat and had to walk home for two hours carrying a bicycle.
There's a new script around: PHANTASMAGORIA - A Puzzle Of Flesh! Check the Script Party topic in the Bard's Forum!

Yeah I had a Tandy 1000SX (used to say "SX" stood for "SUX").

As for that Larry game, hope you enjoy it. I played it for about an hour and absolutely hated it.

I wonder if my installer works with that version of if there are enough differences that it breaks it.

Some long awaited package went through customs and arrived yesterday!

AGI: SQ1 with the Screenshot on front of the box and the Half-dome picture facing the correct side, and Police Quest 1 shrinkwrapped
SQ1 and PQ1
SQ1 and PQ1
SQ1: Correct Half-Dome Picture
SQ1: Correct Half-Dome Picture
EGA: Robin Hood and a shrinkwrapped Rise of the dragon, both as EGA Versions
Robin Hood and Rise of the Dragon, EGA
Robin Hood and Rise of the Dragon, EGA
CD: The dagger of Amon Ra and King's Quest VI, both shrinkwrapped as CD Multimedia versions
The dagger of Amon Ra and King's Quest VI
The dagger of Amon Ra and King's Quest VI
Especially finding the EGA Versions becomes rather exhaustive... Still missing: Castle of Dr. Brain, Hoyle Book of Games Vol. 3, PQ3, MUFT, WB, JITFL and, of course, EQ1. Though I am starting to doubt, that the last one really exists. I do have an EQ1 Box, that reads "VGA (EGA sold separately)", but neither have I seen an EGA version nor does a Google Image search turn up any photo of a Box stating "EGA".

Best wishes,
C.

Indeed. That image (not cropped) is my wallpaper, it's also my iPhone cover, and it's on my credit card. :)

That was from Mammoth a few years ago. Love that photo. :)

These "shrink wrapped" titles that people are buying, are they original factory shrink wrapped, or do people shrink wrap it themselves, to make it look like original?
I'm just a bit sceptical that theres so many titles available still shrink wrapped.

I know it's VERY easy to reshrinkwrap these games (I used to work at Electronic Boutique and we did it there when we verified all the contents of the game were there and put it up as used)... The problem is, do collectors of SIERRA games open shrink wrapped games to even verify that it's legit? Or do they leave it wrapped and hope for the best...
