Caesar II, Windows 7(x64), and the forDosBox installer
Re: Caesar II, Windows 7(x64), and the forDosBox installer
Wired USB mouse did not help.

What are the contents of the C2.bat?
01000010 01111001 01110100 01100101 00100000 01101101 01100101 00100001
Re: Caesar II, Windows 7(x64), and the forDosBox installer
How do I determine that? I tried opening it in 7-zip ("open inside"), and nothing (seemed to) happen. Although, it did open up in notepad. I thought that was a mistake, though.

In Notepad. It is just a text file.

C2.bat:
@echo off
cls
havevesa.exe
if errorlevel 1 UNIVESA.EXE
ps.exe
Just out of curiosity, do you find that old games (Sierra-era, etc.) have less compatibility issues with Windows 8? Or would I have to try really hard to find a 32-bit version of Windows 8?

Try copying the installed folder to your real hard drive and try to set it up in DOSBox. Don't forget to mount your CD drive, too.
