No, just that I have been wondering if there had been a German v2 released that would allow me to add German support to the installer. But looking again at you image I see that it is English, so it is a moot point. The installer should work with it.

BTW, v2.00b had a different cover:

"
May 1991
Sony Corporation of America has announced a new multimedia product:
Sony's Laser Library system is designed for the consumer market in an effort to get the embryonic market for Compact Disk-Read Only Memory moving, Sony Corp has launched what it calls the Laser Library in the US at $700: designed to be used with MS-DOS personal computers, it CD-ROM player and a starter pack of six disks of reference works, education and entertainment.

"

Remember when you got your first CD-ROM drive?
Maybe it was the SONY LASER LIBARY START UP KIT?
Mixed up Mother Goose was part of the included set of CDs.
Btw: whe whole bundle was state of the art!
And it really was a great offer because at the time it was common to sell encyclopedias or reference books on CD for hundreds of dollars each.
I don´t own the complete set, just the CD box.

As you know Sierra games were bundled with different HW back then (e.g. sound cards, mouses, graphic cards).
If you got other examples please take pictures and share. Thanks. 8-)

Is that MMG the red label or the blue? I don't mean the Sony label, but by the documentation.

What is next for Pinkerton Road after the release of GK1 remastered ?

Shipping lots of boxes! Seriously, we have the big project coming up of getting physical copies made of Moebius and GK and getting over 1000 boxes shipped. So that's an entire release cycle in itself. lol
I currently have 2 different game proposals out and about, so we'll see what shakes out. My ideal would be to work with Activision's new Sierra brand on either a GK game or even a KQ or Laura Bow.

Jane Jensen was answering questions on reddit as part of the build-up for GK 20th anniversary edition release.

That's where I got the quote.

Let´s talk about Castle of Dr. Brain 8-)

I got two new additions to my collection:

1.
Nice in shape boxed copy of the Discovery release.
Besides the Fantastic Book of Logic Puzzles or the hintbook nothing special.
But the certificate and club card draw my interest because I´ve never seen these before:

While the club card addresses the whole Discovery topic the certificate is for Dr. Brain only.
Does anyone have more information about it?
Could you/ did you had to earn this in some way?
Do more certificates for other Discovery titles exist?
Pls share your knowledge with me/us 8-)

2.
And fresh from Japan, the PC-98 release:

It is the VGA MPC version. Doing a little more looking, I guess that the main difference is that the blue disc was mufti-lingual and the red was English only. So9 perhaps the red was NA and the blue EU?

Do-ku-taa bu-ra-in / pa-zu-ru no shiro: Dr Brain: puzzle castle. Microsoft Security Essentials won't let me view the site that hosts your photos.
There's a new script around: PHANTASMAGORIA - A Puzzle Of Flesh! Check the Script Party topic in the Bard's Forum!

Mine is letting me. That aside, that is part of why I prefer that when someone posts an image here that they simply attach it as opposed to just linking to one off site. The main thing that bugs me is when images are lost in threads because the image was removed from the other server.

On a more positive note, GK1 remake will unlock on Steam in about 2 hours :)
