Lords of the Realm 2 - World Map Editor??

Lords of the Realm 2 - World Map Editor??

Hey Guys,

So, I'm a super big Lords of the Realm 2 fan, but I'm a little disappointed about the map editor program, in that you can only make battle maps, and not world maps. Does anyone know any 3rd party programs to make world maps? Anyone know what program Sierra used to make world maps for the original game???

I am unaqare of any third party program, though I would not be surprised if there is one. There is the Siege Pack, but I am not sure what all it adds to the game. You would need to use the Squirt the Cat installer for Lords2 since the Siege Pack only works with the Windows version of the game.

As to the development tools that Impressions used at the time I would think that they would have been in house tools. For the Zeus games they used the Darklands Engine, which was a good 4 or 5 years later. I did find this site http://impressionsgames.wikia.com/ but oddly they don't seem to cover the Lords games.
