Interesting game. I've listened to some of the soundtrack CDs far often than I've played the corresponding game, so even when something sounds very familiar, I'm not necessarily able to place it.

I would have thought Police Quest - but that's been ruled out. So I'd opt next to Codename: Iceman (which would make it tougher, since historically, not many make it through that game, so hearing part of the music may make it more difficult)... but I don't know where that music would be, other than in the beginning - and I don't recall it there.

That's a huge clue. Duh. I now know the game - but can't remember the scene. I am pretty sure it's EcoQuest II... but the scene eludes me.
