Here we are at the final round! For this tournament, I'll be pitting all four games against each other in different matches. Same rules apply as last time, so let's take a look at these four finalists for BEST VACATION HOTSPOT IN A SIERRA GAME! (Click the thumbnails to enlarge if my text isn't legible enough.)

(For the purposes for this fight, I'll refer to KQ7 as Etheria and GK1 as New Orleans, but the whole game counts in your vote.)

Because making those postcards made me realize GK1 can be a week-long art class if I play it right.

This is a tough call, but I'm opting for GK1 because it has both a relaxing mountain getaway and a rich, snake party night life.

I didn't forget about this thread; I just wanted to give the final round a couple extra weeks. The voting's still open in case anyone new wants to chime in, but...

The Results For Now:

Etheria = 9
Silmaria = 10
La Costa Lotta = 7
New Orleans = 10

As usual, there's a draw, but in the case of this contest... I'm giving it to Silmaria and New Orleans as Sierra's prime vacation getaways. Both worlds (as well as the runner-ups from the previous rounds) are rich in memorable characters, scenic locations and fun, breathable atmospheres. And the design work went that extra mile, so that if the player looks past the puzzles and dangers, a stay spent in these worlds can still be enriching and eventful.

Votes are still open, and you can still change the tournament's outcome. I don't know if I'll start another tournament anytime soon, but suggestions are welcome. I think I already did Best Hero, Villain, Sidekick, Backgrounds, Music, Puzzles, and Easter Eggs, and BBP got Deaths. So we'll see.

How about Best "Spear Carrier" (i.e. one-joke character that turned out to be slightly more)? For instance, Ali Chica from QfG2 (who sells you a compass and a map, and tries to sell you more stuff that's slightly less useful); or the junk dealers from QfG3.

Or how about Best "Starscream" (i.e. character who, at first glance, is the villain, but turns out to be not so)? For instance, the Demon Wizard in QfG3, or Baba Yaga / Katrina in QfG4.
