Your Favorite Moment?

Your Favorite Moment?

You can either do you favorite moment out of each game - or your favorite moment of the entire series. But let's hear them!

And note - it's favorite MOMENT - singular! So don't tell me about 10 different ones in a single game! I am looking for that single moment in the series or in each game that really made you say wow, laugh, or something!

Hmm.....for my favorite moment, I would have to say both the end of Disc 5 and the end of Disc 6 of The Beast Within as I feel they are really just 2 parts of a single moment.

GK1: The death of Wolfgang

GK2: (please let me tell you two moments) The end of Chapter Five, when Von Glower caresses Gabriel's hair and the beginning of Chapter Six, with the dream of Ludwig... Oh, and I forgot: the Opera, totally!

GK3: The night in which Gabriel find Chester's unpublished book, buried outside of his house. The music, in that moment, really drove me away!

But one moment it's too little... I have hundreds of moments to tell!

Agh. The beginning of Chapter 6. That was an amazing cutscene, and really makes me mad that it didn't get the chance to be its own chapter (as was originally intended and as it is in the novel).

GK1: Agree with Andrea. It's hard to beat someone ripping out their own heart.
GK2: The Opera Scene
GK3: When you die falling into the pit and Mosely comments "Well, that sucks."

GK1... Wolfgang's death, Malia's death, Gabriel running away from the meeting in the swamp... there are lots of little moments. Not to mention "Say goodnight, Gracie..." / "UGH!"

As for GK2 - I haven't finished it, so there's nothing there that really stands out for me. *sigh*

There's only one moment that I really remember from GK3 - Gabriel's reunion with Mosley. Not sure why. I think it amused me in its goofiness. ;)

*EDIT*
Oh, and one more GK1 moment I loved, being a long-time chess-player myself... Sam's victory over Marcus in the Napoleon House. "Checkmate! Hee hee! 20 years I've been waiting to say that word! Checkmate, checkmate, checkmate!" And Marcus storming off, calling Sam an SOB. *LOL*

I love any moment where Gabriel and Grace show affection for each other. Especially Gabe's realization of his love for Gracie at the end of GK3.

See, that bummed me out because I enjoyed Gabe's womanizer attitude. :)

Though he did next to none of that in GK2 that I can remember off hand.

I know.. I like his womanizer attitude too.

But sometimes you just want Gabriel to just cut the bull and tell her that he loves her already! :D

Gabe's womanizing is fantastic! ("Madeline's fingerprint... (gasp)... Nice curves...") It's hard to choose though, I also loved his singing, his taunting at Wilkes, his Irish accent at Cazanoux, not to mention the Clue (one of my all-time favourite films) reference that literally made me fall off my seat...

I think I'd choose the Ch 2 closing section of GK3... with the simple evidence that I put it in my favourites at YouTube.

What's the Clue reference? :D
*loves Tim Curry's manic butler* ;)

What's not to love about this film? It has Tim Curry, Michael McKean, Madeleine Khan, Christopher Lloyd... and on and on and on... ;)

When you look at Roxanne in the Staff Only room, Gabe says: "And I thought the French maid in Clue had big... ehm... feather dusters!"
I love that section. It's joke-packed!
