I recently stumbled on a way to disable the annoying manual check screen in King's Quest 4 (1.006.004, its the one on the collections) and was wondering if anyone else was interested in it.
It's a 1 byte change (load script 700 instead of 701), and it's not like you can't find the manual out there anyway. Just saves you from having to pull out your book every time you play. It works on DOSBox and ScummVM's latest snapshot.

Re: That annoying manual screen on KQ4
Sounds good, but may I offer one small suggestion? Put the file in a ZIP instead of 7Z. 7Z is created by 7-Zip and not everyone has that. Some people use WinZIP, WinRAR or even Windows' own ZIP system.
It's not a huge deal, but keeping it in a format that's the most easily accessed by others is probably for the best.
