Question: Nexus Mods

Post by Rath Darkblade »

I have often seen references to a place called "Nexus Mods", which I can use to mod various games (e.g. Skyrim, the Dragon Age games, Mass Effect, The Witcher etc.)

My question is this: is this place safe to use? (All right, sure: nothing downloaded from the internet is 100% safe). ;) I understand the risks of modding a game, and I only intend to apply one mod at a time. If the game breaks, all I have to do is I un-apply the mod and try again. No big deal, right?

The game I'm aiming to mod is DA1 (yes, yes, very old). ;) I believe most of the mods involved either introduce a quest or two, are cosmetic in nature, or fix EA's bugs.

So ... what's your take on Nexus Mods? Does anyone know it? Use it? What do you think? :)

Thanks...

Use it for Skyrim. It's great. Totally safe.
