If Roger Wilco had to clean up after ALIENS - Viscera Cleanup Detail.

Someone on the beta test forum for SpaceVenture posted this...

You're essentially a janitor that goes around cleaning up after horrific scifi events. There's no monsters. Your whole job is just to clean up blood, body parts, etc.

It even supports multiplayer...!

Here's someone's game play... It's... an odd game... there's nothing to attack you or anything.... You just... clean.

So ... I'm confused. If all you do is clean, what challenge is there? Who is/are the antagonist(s)? What do you "win" if you beat the game? ;)

So from what I read on Steam... You are your own enemy. If you knock over buckets, or make a mess - it increases the time to take to clean. So I guess you have "goals" (similar to a racing game) to try and "clear the track" (clean the area) by (I am guessing similar to earning Bronze, Silver or Gold)?

But I am not sure. It has mostly positive reviews. And the comments mostly say how fun it is, despite how repetitive it is.

Some funny comments were like:

"I clean more in this game, than I do in my own home."

This game is a real pain. It's actually more difficult to clean in this game than it is in real life. Sure, you don't actually have to do any manual labor, but stuff gets knocked over so damn easily that you spend almost all of your time cleaning up your own mess.

Yeah, this game has the age-old "physics" problem of placing something down or into a container and watching that item spaz out, sometimes to the point of practically flying off in a random direction.

 Sounds like Oblivion and Skyrim, to name just two ... ;)

And yes, Roger Wilco has more urgent goals than to mop up blood.

I mean, in SQ1 - there were dead bodies everywhere.

Yeah, but that's normal. The hard part is hiding them. :ermm:

Erm, I don't remember having to hide the bodies in SQ1. (I remember trying to find a place to hide, which is different). ;)

Can you please elaborate, DPX?

Only works in SQ1VGA...

Kidding aside...

It's a joke.

Like...

When you say, "Hey, do you have a truck?"

"What for?"

"Oh. Just need to hide a body."
