Was the game you are in released prior to 1991? (not inclusive, 1991 itself would be "no")

No.

(I swear you guys are going to hang me when you figure out what it is... because of how I 'interpreted' a question, I think it's throwing everyone off)

YES!

No Quest in the title:

The "deceptive" answer - is it a player character?
http://sierrahelp.com/forums/viewtopic. ... 879#p76879

Here's where I think it first threw people off. Because you do control Boggle, I do not consider him an NPC.

And for his gender, it's never revealed (that I recall) in the game.
End of page 15 and start of 16 in this PDF, finally reveals him as a "him/he"... and since it's Al's document, I'd consider it true.

But again, I don't remember Torin ever saying, "He [Boggle] can do XYZ." And being an alien, and yet pink, I couldn't myself tell what his gender is.

Fair enough. I'd forgotten that Boogle was controllable. And Boogle is an alien, shapeshifting... "thing" ... so "male" and "female" might not apply. Referring to Boogle as "he" may just be out of a need to pick one or the other. For all we know Boogle may reproduce by dividing like an amoeba.

Anyway, I have someone/something in mind, so ask away.

Is this character from a Sierra-developed (i.e. not Dynamix or any of the other companies within the "Sierra Family") adventure game?
"Er, Tawni, not Tawmni, unless you are doing drag."
