Interesting, although I wouldn't count Quest for Glory in that list since it is more of a weight limit system. Phantasmagoria may have had an 8 item limit, but I thought it was designed in a way that made it impossible to exceed 8 items. The game itself never creates a situation where you could collect more than 8. This is actually pretty good game design. Shivers 2 just doesn't allow you to pick anything new up, so you had to either solve a puzzle to consume an item or unload a chess piece or ceramic piece to make room. It also doesn't tell you what the problem is. It's not something one would encounter their first time through (like myself) but it could be a potential problem since it doesn't tell you explicitly that your inventory is full.BBP wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 3:02 pm Ooh, and for more adventures with a finite inventory:

My "favourite" of these was Alice in Wonderland for CD-i. But that's another story.
Is that what you meant earlier about something happening in the cemetery?BBP wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 3:54 pm We learn absolutely nothing of the baker and Pearl's OK but for the rest it's a town of Very Unpleasant People (including Norah for that bitch move in the cemetery). I don't know what happens to them - I assume that what happened to them is the same as what happens to the band.
That brings up something that I forgot to mention. So Norah gets sucked into the Underworld too? She doesn't deserve that!
