This is the most people my thread has seen. :D

Continue the conversation (I don't mind!) - Just gonna post this week's music video.

All too often the music that Travis Richards provided for us, beginning in Season 2, was often mixed at a low volume to ensure the voice actor lines are clearly heard. I thought it would be great to now use footage from Neverending Nights to highlight his music and remove the speaking lines.

This music was to show Peter and Grayson's ascension into becoming heroes.

Hmm. I have no doubt that "The Spinal Frontier" got its parody title from "The Final Frontier" -- only, I always thought it was because every episode of the original TV series begins that way. You know: "Space: The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise", and so on... :)

After all, isn't that what Roger does during the climax of SQ6? By entering Stellar Santiago's body, he boldly goes where no man has gone before. ;)

Depends how promiscuous Santiago might've been in the past.

(I know that's not what you meant, but the opportunity was too good to pass up).

Good "hero" music there, Tawm -- and lots of dragons! I see a white one, a red and a dracolich. (Am I right?)

Swish! Set it up for you. ;)

(Yes, of course that's not what I meant. But never mind).

The footage is from the series - so the white one you see is actually a Silver Dragon (Dean the Dragon). The Red One is the Crimson Mother and the Dracolich is the Dragon of Silverlake. :)

Whoops re: white vs. silver dragon. :| Yes, I recognised the footage from the series; I just forgot about Dean the Dragon. :)

By the way ... Dean? Not a typical dragon name, I'd have thought. Normally I'd expect dragons to have names with lots of syllables and apostrophes etc. (like Astry'xwyth'tryx (pronounced "Asterix-with-tricks"), or something like that. ;) Hope you like that name, BTW - I just made it up on the spot! :)

Now I wonder what a dragon would be like, if it was like Asterix.

So here's a fun little thing - each character's name is based off their middle name of the voice person. :)

Oh? Was Dean the Dragon voiced by Richard Dean Anderson (aka MacGyver)? (Sorry). ;)

But now I can't think of who voiced the dragons. *puzzled* Who was it, please? (With a cherry on top?) :)

So, Dean the Dragon was voiced by Jeremy Rochester.
The Crimson Mother was voiced by Pat Freese. (Adam's mother)
The Dragon of Silverlake is voiced by both Adam and I, reading the lines together, then dropping an effect over it.

OK ... but what does "Silverlake" have to do with Adam's (or your) name? Your middle name isn't Silverlake. ;)

That's why the Dragon of Silverlake's name is ever mentioned. Just his location, since both Adam and I voiced him and our middle names were already being used. :)

The "Silverlake" however is a reference to something - as seen on the Easter Egg page (for Episode 02) - http://neverendingnights.com/easter-eggs
The Dragon of Silverlake; Silverlake is one of the locations in the racing game, Burn Out - Primarily Burn Out 2, which me, Adam and Paul used to play the Crash Mode for HOURS on end. I mean HOURS. ON. END. NON. STOP.

Well ... the connection is that she wears necklace shaped like a leaf of Lorien, from LOTR. It's very beautiful -- it looks like this. :)

So ... to confuse LOTR with Harry Potter...? Or Star Wars? Oy. My head hurts ...

All too often the music that Travis Richards provided was blended in with background and lowered to allow the dialogue to be heard. With the show done now – I wanted to release weekly videos of the music he’d provided us for the show and cut it to scenes from the show to highlight his music and talent. This is for the song entitled "Courage."

Nice one! :) It reminds me, on a small scale, of this: the "Quest for Glory V" music for "The Rite of Valor" (i.e. facing the Hydra).

(A little cool note for the music to the Rite of Valor: it's scored in triple-time - one two three, one two three - one for each head of the hydra). ;)

That's cool. I never noticed that. It's a waltz.
