Conquest of Camelot Music.

Feel like your conquest has you questing in circles? This is for the Cristy Marx games, Conquests of Camelot: The Search for the Grail and Conquests of the Longbow: The Legend of Robin Hood. You can ask for help with these games here! (Beware of the rabbit... it's got fangs!)

Conquest of Camelot Music.

Post by Tawmis »

So the next video I released on my Let's Play Channel (while I wait for life to calm down) - is Conquest of Camelot.

I loved these games; they were different than the KQ type games. More story and lore behind them, obviously - so it made them feel richer story wise.

It was like the love child of King's Quest meets Gabriel Knight. :D

Sigh. I could never get past the Black Knight. He always unhorsed me. :( It's a pity, too, because I know and like the King Arthur legends. :)

Well, you can sacrifice Gawaine if you want to move forward. :) Otherwise it's keeping track of the knight's shield and adjust you lance accordingly while keeping track of your own shield.

I remember the jousting... and I know I passed it... but was probably luck more than skill back in the day.

I guess I was just unlucky. Oh, well.

Yes, I know I can sacrifice Gawain. But won't I need him later?

Probably like QFG, multiple solutions to something where he might have been needed.

OK. I just feel bad for Gawain, having to leave him behind. =\

I guess that later (probably much later) this comes back to bite me? ;)

As I recall, you need to save ALL of your knights or the grail will actually kill you.

Right. That's probably what I was thinking of, back when I tried CoC. ;)

Which is why, when I met the Black Knight, I thought "Stuff it - either I joust him and get killed right now, or leave Gawain and get killed in about a week's time, and not know why. So, might as well joust the guy and try not to get killed."

.........and, of course, I got killed. :P :(
