But he was being a bad guy, betraying his ally (a bad guy) to another bad guy.

A few quick rounds of Leisure Suit Larry? Sounds like the writer just liked the name and didn't understand the game at all. Even so, it's neat to see LSL (or any Sierra game) appear in some other form of media.

Yeah I was researching for an upcoming comic book podcast - and read that issue as it's a part of the upcoming podcast - and was surprised to see LSL mentioned.

I am guessing, the writer may be familiar with the game, and probably wanted to inject it as a throw away comment - but still get it in there.

Jackal, the character asking (as I am sure DPX knows) is ... a little crazy... during the MAXIMUM CLONAGE (sigh) crossover.

I read "a few quick rounds" as .......... maaaaaaaybe .......... "let's try to beat this game. Damn it, I'm dead. Let's try again. Gah! I'm dead again! OK, try again" and so on.

That's the only way that makes sense!
