Hint: the antagonist is far from being a dragon.

Hint: in this game, you cannot fall on spikes (like you could in "Prince of Persia").

(By the way ... yeesh. The traps in that game were pretty gruesome for EGA. The first time I fell on spikes, I was shocked).

So this game was on PC... I am going to assume that rules out the Atari 2600.

Well, there's the Atari-Telegames Home Pong - but ye mentioned a lot of jumping, so that rules that one out.
