Rath - go for it, since DPX passed and I just did the one he guessed.
Or if someone new slides into the thread - feel free to run with it.
For anyone new to the game - check out the first post for how this game works!

It doesn't seem to matter which game I pick; DPX will always guess it right on his next guess.
So here's one that I'm sure not even DPX will get -- not on the first try, anyway!
I remember a PC game where you could jump into places and try many different puzzles, all to win the girl's heart, while things chased you away.

I actually think I may know what this is.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:55 pm I remember a PC game where you could jump into places and try many different puzzles, all to win the girl's heart, while things chased you away.
Was said game also ever an arcade game?

(Cough, cough - give a hint, cough cough)
Anyway - by the description, I'd thought you were pointing towards Dragon's Lair.

Is this the original 1989 version of Prince of Persia?Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 11:55 pm I remember a PC game where you could jump into places and try many different puzzles, all to win the girl's heart, while things chased you away.

It is not an arcade game, but in addition to the PC, it was also on other platforms.
No, not "Dragon's Lair".
Hint: the antagonist is far from being a dragon.
No.
Hint: in this game, you cannot fall on spikes (like you could in "Prince of Persia").
(By the way ... yeesh. The traps in that game were pretty gruesome for EGA. The first time I fell on spikes, I was shocked).

Is the antagonist a human(oid)? (Human, Elf, Dwarf, etc)

Nope!
The game involves a lot of jumping.

You mentioned "other platforms." Which other platforms? Since you specified PC (which encapsulates all varieties of personal computers since the term "PC" isn't limited to DOS-based or Windows-based machines), I imagine the other platforms are consoles, but which ones?

Re: The Poorly Described Game... um, game.
There's several different Atari versions... 2600, 5200, 7800, Atari ST, and Atari Lynx.
So this game was on PC... I am going to assume that rules out the Atari 2600.
So was this game on the Atari 7800 or later models?
(Atari Wiki for reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari )
Well, there's the Atari-Telegames Home Pong - but ye mentioned a lot of jumping, so that rules that one out.

Um - I'm not sure.
Clue: Now that I've looked at it properly, it was released on the Atari 8-bit, the IBM PC, and the IBM PCJr.
