Rath, did you post a poem or song earlier? I saw it and now it is gone. When you said your posts keep getting deleted, I thought you meant immediately afterwards.

Sigh ... yes, I did. And now it's gone. :x Here it is again.

"The Darth Vader Song"
(parody of "The King of Bling" from Horrible Histories...
oh, and "My Name Is" by Eminem)

Vader:
My name is
My name is
My name is ... Darth Vader!

I was Skywalker
with the name Anakin -
but started as a slave
when on Tattooine!
Was a Jedi, people said I'd
bring balance to the Force;
But was lured onto the dark side--
Sidious, of course!

Fought with Obi-Wan,
was injured by light-
sabre, it wasn't fun
when he showed me his might!

(Stormtroopers enter and form a chorus line behind Darth Vader.)

Was I ever human?
I can't recall;
But I'm a cyborg anyway
and will be better than Maul!

Stormtroopers:
All hail Darth V--
'tis he, you see!
Bow we to he!

Vader:
I am he who'll bring down Palpatine!

Beaten in a fight
left to die on Mustafar
was rescued by Sidious
and he brought me up to par!
Old Sidious was insidious,
he was scheming, he was sly--
twisted us around his finger
like Iago, my oh my.

I served him for two decades
as Empire's enforcer,
and in that time my voice grew
deeper and hoarser!
They didn't heal me afterwards
with a nanorobot--
you see, to stay alive
I'm caged inside a robot...

Stormtroopers: (and Vader, alternately)
'Nakin is in (much pain!)
No sin - drink gin! (Go 'way!)
But still he'll win!

Vader:
You see, I am he who'll bring down Palpatine!

Met my own son, it was climactic!
Offered him share in empire galactic!
But he did not fall for my brilliant tactic--
so he fled, learned from Yoda - he's didactic!
Man, that was syntactic.

Married Padmé Amidala,
she was my love so true;
Thought we'd never have a kid
and then - well, we had two!
I forgot 'bout them all
and kidnapped Leia Organa;
You think that's bad?
I'll drop a skin of banana and--

Leia: (in high soprano)
Count Dooku will trip!

Vader:
You know, I must admit
as father, I was bad
but who cares, 'cos I made Pal-
patine mad?
Fulfilled the Jedi prophecy,
brought balance to the Force!
I hope you didn't doubt me--
got it done, of course!

Stormtroopers: (and Vader, alternately)
When said and done
Darth V's (that's me!)
no fun for Alderaan!

Vader:
I was a villain, but then I died--
My tale is done!

Death Star, anyone?

When did Manannan acquire 2 lightsabers?

Is one for him, and the other for his young padawan, Gwy Di On? 8-)

Aaaaaaaaaaand once again - for the 6th or 7th time - my reply got deleted. :(

I was trying to ask whether you were channelling Gandalf, and how he got two staffs. ;) But of course that's irrelevant now.

There's no rational explanation to all this, except that someone is deliberately deleting my posts. :x GRRRR.

Only three people can do that.
You, before 30 minutes.
Or me and Collector. And I looked at the logs. I don't see any of the three of us deleting your posts.

I don't know what browser you use, but maybe you should try a different one. In fact, I'd suggest you have a browser (without any extensions or add-ons) that you specifically use ONLY on SHP.

If you do that and you no longer have posts that get deleted, then the issue has to do with a setting or extension/add-on causing problems on your original browser.

(No, I can't delete posts, and it's a good thing too, because I'd definitely delete posts in an attempt to make people think they're going crazy! )

I don't think it is Rath's browser. I saw one of his posts and a little bit later it was gone.

Well, I meant only the person posting can delete their own post...

(And don't give away my secret...)

Do you remember what the post was about (that you saw and vanished)?

I mean, I guess something could be going on with the database... but... odd it would only Target Rath. Because no posts I've seen of my own seem to vanish.
And no one but Rath is noting seeing their own posts vanish.

It was the "Darth Vader Song" I posted above. (See NBS's post, just before it). :)

Weird.

Because it seems to solely be impacting you. I haven't noticed anyone else's posts vanishing. I figure, especially in the "Madlib" game, it'd be noticable if mine or NBS was also having posts disappear.

My posts haven't been disappearing, but I'm still constantly logged out randomly. Sometimes immediately after logging in. And when I go to post something it tells me to log in which erases my entire post and I have to press the back button to copy/paste it again. But my posts don't disappear.

^This just happened to this post. Had to push the back button and copy/paste so I wouldn't lose it.
