Re: Introduce Yourself!
I bought my first computer in 1979, an Ohio Scientific. A few months later I bought an Apple II+ and quickly discovered On-Line Systems. I read about the invitation to move to Coarsegold and work on game development. As a father of two I could not responsibly leave a good job for such an unknown future, a decision I have always regretted. I used the Apple to learn assembler, BASIC and Pascal, writing several non-trivial programs mostly for my own entertainment.
Jump to the present: I sold my home in AZ and embarked on a search for a new home in a travel trailer, taking several months and twelve states. Now in an RV park in Oakhurst, CA, I have a house in escrow in Coarsegold. While awaiting close of escrow I have been walking around Oakhurst. This morning I suddenly remembered that this was my one-time Shangri-La! Google led me to this site and I realized I had been walking by the old Victoria Street address for a couple of weeks. Synchronicity? Ya think?

Welcome stuntology! I'm sure you'll find yourself at home here.
Tell us a little about yourself. For example, what's your favorite Sierra game?

Talk to coffee? Even Gabriel isn't that addicted!

I think his avatar suggests something about that.AndreaDraco wrote:Welcome stuntology! I'm sure you'll find yourself at home here.

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Haha, right now, you're absolutely correct, Collector! I just started the Quest for Glory series A few months ago thanks to gog. I'm (I think) about halfway through the third, and am loving every moment of them.
( I actually preferred the second to the first, but I love that screen as an avatar).
Other than those, though, I've had Sierra games in my life since I was young. All in all, I'd say some of my favorites were Space Quest 3 and 4, Kings Quest 3, Police Quest 2, and The Colonel's Bequest.
