Ah, but are you a Bow Street Runner?AndreaDraco wrote:Ah! Shelock Holmes! Definitely one of my favorite authors.Shakar wrote:Complete Sherlock Holmes
I've tried reading Sherlock Holmes, but could never get into it. Sorry. On the other hand, do plays count? I own the complete plays of Oscar Wilde and Henrik Ibsen, and have also read two of Arthur Miller's best plays - "The Crucible" and "Death of a Salesman". Naturally, I own the complete Shakespeare and (although he never wrote plays) the complete Edgar Allan Poe.
Agreed! I've read The Hobbit multiple times - it especially helps to pick me up when I'm feeling sick. Don't know why! As for the LOTR trilogy... I'm not surprised it took Tolkien so long to write this. Creating a new, complete world is very difficult. (I've been trying this myself, although on a much-reduced scale, for the past 8 years (albeit VERY part-time!))Shakar wrote:I have read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogy. Amazing.
Why shouldn't they count? I'm a huge Terry Pratchett fan, and I have two or three of the graphic novels as well - they're great fun. Here's one, and here's another.Shakar wrote:Do comic books/graphic novels count? Because I have a ton of those as well
