Sorry to resurrect a dead thread... *turns momentarily into Rath the ~EVIL~ necromancer*

But here's one of my favourites that doesn't have a forum -
Jones in the Fast Lane. Pretty much a unique game... I remember playing that one a lot when I was much younger. I still play it now and again, just for fun.

I remember playing JitFL when I was a kid, but it didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I recently replayed it and easily beat the game. I think the major difference was I actually knew something about work and money.

And I get to necro another thread.... WOOT!
Even though we got a Dynamix Games sub-forum, I'd love to see a subforum dedicated to Aces of the Pacific, Aces over Europe, and Aces of the Deep (along with Red Baron).
I enjoyed the heck out of the Aces games especially. Even though I was pretty much the defacto adventure gamer of my house, my old man (may he rest in peace) was addicted to the Aces games and even I got hooked on em after a while ever since we got him Aces of the Pacific for Christmas 1992. I can honestly say that once he got AotP, he didn't play anything else until he got Aces over Europe... and that one he played religiously until he got AotD, which he also played religiously until he passed away in 1995.
To this day, I have yet to see a historical flight sim that can hold a candle to the classics. Yea the graphics may have been updated over the years, but they all pale in comparison. The only one that comes even close is Blazing Angels.
Of course, Aces of the Deep took the standard that was set by Silent Service and raised the bar to a level that has yet to be surpassed (though the Silent Hunter series does come pretty close).
All of the games that Damon Slye did were top notch... and I'm sure there are many people who were as deeply enthralled with the Aces series as my old man was (and myself to a lesser extent).

Yobi's Basic Spelling Tricks. I would love to see this game get some sort of installer so that I can play it again. That game was damn awesome.

This is one that I do not have, so it is not really possible for me to one.

Well for some reason the only way to play that game is to install windows 3.1 on DOSBox and open it up that way. I wish there was an easier way to get it play because I don't know DOSBox enough to to put windows 3.1 on it and then the game.

There is a how to for Win3x in the official guides on VOGONS. I am in a cafe right now that uses Open DNS, who has VOGONS wrongly blocked, so I can't get the URL. Here is another version based on it:

That guide has not been updated in while, but should still work. Keep in mind that you do need copies of the Windows installation disks.

One big one missing is a subforum is the Dr. Brain stuff.
Another one that I used to play to DEATH is Pepper's Adventures in my early teens. Now that I think of it, Eco Quest 2 wasn't really marketed as such, it was simply called "Secret of the Rain Forest" or something like that, and together with Pepper and Dr. Brain lumped into a series named "Sierra Discovery Series". It might be an idea to expand the Eco Quest forum to incorporate Pepper and Dr. Brain as well. I can go on and on about Sierra games. And on...

That's some major thread necromancy.
I can also say much about Sierra games, but it isn't all appreciated here :p.

Sierra game-talk is so sparse these days that it is kind of hard to NOT necropost.

*raises thread from the dead again, laughs evilly like heck, and runs away*
Oh, how about the Sierra "board game" games? You know - where you could play card games against Larry, Graham, Roger etc.
This one, I think.

Not enough demand.
