She grew up in Palmerton, which is literally a five minute drive from the town that I grew up in eastern PA. Pretty neat.
The Smiths in GK2 made me giggle as it was her poking fun at the "typical older Pennsylvanian couple". This is me assuming, of course.. or if you could say my 'Laura Bow investigative twinge'.

Although I use both variants, I prefer the 'grey' option - but then I'm used to Hercule Poirot boasting about his 'little grey cells'.

Hey, mendosa! Can you tell us what this says?

Look closely in the bottom left corner of the posters hanging on the walls... does that seem like the official box cover, hmm..?
And here are a few new screenshots!

If those are actual screen shots (not alpha or beta versions), then I'm impressed. I've wanted high quality graphics in Adventure games for a long time and it looks like that'll happen here.
It's not full 3D (I'd guess you'd call it 2.5D), but the character models look very good. I'm not so sure about the backgrounds -- they look a little too "drawn" for my tastes. But if that's the graphical style of the game, they did a good job with it.

They look like final screenshots to me (except that in some of them the characters look strangely attached to the background, like they were added later, I don't know).

It's hard to tell since I can only see the images on my Blackberry (blocked at work) but the first few, I think, are newer because of Sam's makeover. The majority are with Sam's older model, which, I think look more 'sketchier'.
One of the older trailers (can't find the link) featured the cutscenes as animated sketches with (I think) a bit of 3D effects. If I recall correctly, David is in the shower and the water droplets looked 3D but the rest was all drawings. I personally was looking forward to pre-rendered 3D cutscenes but they probably didn't have enough time.
Here's the thread on Nico's CORT-X forum about it. (Andrea, do you know where the link to that trailer is?)

How funny is it that I don't remember watching it on youtube, yet I posted in the comments section.
Thanks, Andrea.

Ha, Jules - you have found "tetelo" blog, she's a journalist related to Technopolis/Rzeczpospolita (Res Publica). What is said there :
Claas Wolter from DTP appeared at the recent conference held by CDProject* in Warsaw to praise Gray Matter. GOL* representative was there, too, and described his impressions from a half an our presentation. /link to article/ This link will soon be payable, as it is on GOL. Sensitive people feel warned - much spoilers there. Watching some yet unpublished images is worth a try /link to images/.
Who is next?
BTW - here you have links to Jane interviews for Examiner and Gameboomers
*one of the biggest Polish publishers, owner of GOG, developer of The Witcher
*one of biggest Polish gaming portals, not very reliable, though.
The linked article is kind of a big spoiler to me, that's why I do not want to go through those three pages. But... lets say a "friend" of mine from Adventure Zone was on that conference, too. She is yet to publish her impressions from DTP interview - if she has her "script" in English, I could be able to place it here.
The conference itself was concentrated on The Witcher Two, on GOG, the means to avoid the crisis, CDP history and future etc. etc. Here you have a link to AZ, and some rare photos there:

Adventure Zone has announced that on april 28th there will be a conference held by DTP in Oxford, GB. The subject will be "Gray Matter" for PC and consoles, and the special guest will be... Jane Jensen! I am pretty sure you will have more info in English from that conference.

Do we know if the conference will be for the press only? Imagine if it was open to everyone...!

I imagine it will be press-only, as was the last meeting in October, dedicated to the voice recording in London.
(Indicentally, hi Simo! Welcome!
