This is what is left of the community from the official Sierra boards. Many of us have known each other going back to not just the now defunct VU forum, but all the way back to the old Sierra WebX boards.

Welcome, Tyler!
Re: Introduce Yourself!
Hey guys,
I joined the forum a few days ago, and I forgot to introduce myself. I've always enjoyed playing adventure games, but I didn't get into the ones from Sierra till a few years ago, and I find them quiet fun to play even as of today. The Sierra games that I currently own are:
- Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned
- Gabriel Knight Mysteries
- Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!
- Leisure Suit Larry Collection Series
- Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh
- Roberta Williams' Phantasmagoria
* None of them are digital copies, because I prefer to have a physical copy of the games, which I prefer due to the feeling of actually owning a copy from my point-of-view.

Welcome Luinath! I see you already own the three greatest adventures of all time!
Have you played them?

Re: Introduce Yourself!
welcome . Those are indeed great games. I too prefer to have a physical version of my games, though I must admit that I have learned to apreciate the mobility you get from steam.
Re: Introduce Yourself!
I have played all three of them years ago from a copy I borrowed from a friend, which I had to use Virtual PC for the first 2 at the time (wasn't too familiar with how DOSBox functioned,) but I manage to get my own copy of the games this year. Of the three, I enjoyed the first game the most, since the gameplay, story, and lines were the most enjoyable of the three from my point-of-view. I'm currently playing through the first Gabriel Knight for old times' sake.
Thanks for the welcome again, and sorry for late response.

Hi, my name's Jon Kristinsson. I'm an illustrator / animator at a small film production firm in Copenhagen, Denmark.
My love for Sierra goes way back to the golden age of PCs with only two color screens. Not having enough floppies to get the gigantic Space Quest IV from my friend. Didn't have a PC myself, so most of the old ones I played in black/white on a Mac Plus at home. Probably spent way too much time than anyone should in the beginning half of King's Quest 3.
It's funny, I got so hooked on LucasArts adventures when VGA graphics came around, that I missed out on a lot of the newer versions of the Sierra series (King's Quest VI) And then for some reason returned to it to play the weird ones (King's Quest VII and Torin's Passage) For all my love of the early Sierra days I haven't played nearly as much of the games as I would like.
