A degree in Philosophy? Well, er ... um. *thinks* He could become a professional philosopher, and argue with Deep Thought! :D

Police Quest (SWAT Edition) XXV: Let's Scarf Donuts and Shoot Protestors! Actually, let's not. :( Can you imagine the backlash from the BLM movement?

Conquest of the Longbow II: Robin Hood Shoots Apples Off People's Heads. And that's all that happens. It could probably be made in CGA, with little tiny cyan apples. ;)

Lighthouse 2 The Dark Being returns, but all he does is jump around and wave his arms so he is pretty much just ignored.

Oh dear. So "The Phantom Menace" has nothing to do with Star Wars, in this case. And why is Gabriel Knight in Lost Wages anyway? What's he doing so far from Louisiana? =\ I'm no expert on US geography, but I'm pretty sure that N'Orleans and Los Vegas are on opposite sides of the country (almost) and have opposite weathers, right? N'Orleans, IIRC, is hot and humid; Los Vegas is hot and dry.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. But I hope I'm not doing too badly for a darn' furriner. ;)

Quest for Glory VI (subtitled "Quest for Worry"). At the end of QfG5, the hero - a thief - chose to become king, married Budar, and moved into the Hall of Kings. Huzzah! :D

Now the hero must deal with reality: the Hall of Kings is drafty and damp, it's mortgaged to the hilt, Silmaria is broke because of the Gloriana Financial Crisis, and he has no job security and three kids.

If that's not enough, Budar's bugging him for new clothes and shoes, the kids are crying and breaking stuff, and the littlest one is still in potty training.

So one late night, while the hero is trying to sleep, he summoned out of his nice warm bed and into Erasmus's Tower, and given a new quest. Why? Because "A Hero Has To Go Where A Hero Has To Go". *insert Brooklyn raspberry here* :P

Unfortunately, Gloriana has no toilets, so now our hero (who didn't go in five whole games) can't hold it in any more, and so he goes all over Erasmus's clean floor. (Yuck). The hero is arrested and charged with committing distinctly unheroic behaviour.

But it's not all bad news. At least in jail, he can relax. ;)

Then Erasmus arrives and bails him out of jail, so he can go on an adventure again. Noooooooooooooo! :P

(Disclaimer: this game has nothing whatsoever to do with "Quest for Glory 4.5". Seriously) Also, sorry for making it so long. Once I started, the inspiration ran away from me and I had to catch it. ;)

It's true - they're not close. But Lost Wages is (supposedly? In a fictional world?) closer than Germany (GK2) or France (GK3). ;)

And why wouldn't Gabe go to a place where there's a lot of ladies out drinking? ;)

... because ... um ... there are bars in N'Orleans? ;)

I'm also sure Larry would protest his innocence. Besides, a guy that survive getting beaten up in dark alleys, getting run over by taxis, and so on is pretty much immortal.

Space Quest: Red Dwarf

Floating through space in hyper sleep yet again, Roger Wilco’s pod is picked up by the mining ship Red Dwarf and is awakened by Holly. After meeting Dave Lister and Arnold Rimmer, Roger is pleasantly surprised to learn he’s far from being the biggest smeghead in the galaxy, and begins making himself at home with the rest of the motley crew. Thanks to the Cat, his fashion sense becomes decidedly more cool, but life isn’t entirely easy. Between gleefully disobeying Rimmer’s ridiculous orders and chowing down on curries with Lister, Roger must also contend with Kryton’s jealousy, as the android fears Lister will become less fond of him now that he has another human to pal around with. Still, there are worse ways to live out the end of humanity than drinking fresh mango juice with goldfish shoals nibbling at your toes.

Leisure Suit Larry LX: What's Your Sign, Toots? Starring the newest member of the family, Larry Lozenge. If you thought Larry Lovage was bad ...

The entire game constitutes of Larry Lozenge, a high-school freshman, asking girls out in the most ridiculous ways and being slapped in the face, kicked in the crotch, and ignored. Sigh ... a real chip of the ol' block. :P
