Pledged! :)

Looks good in first-person perspective. Wonder if the new gaming generation will have a go at it, too.

I backed it! PQ was one of my favorite series, so I'd definitely like to see a new game like it made.

Love how it's 80% nostalgia talk and 20% about the game. From what I've gathered, this is gonna be released in episodes and, like most Kickstarters, runs on Unity3D. Going by the gameplay video, it's also gonna be very simple.

In about 2 hours, there will be a special update on the Precinct Kickstarter. Check it out.

I hope so... I don't have faith that this one is going to make it unless something drastic happens.

Something drastic is happening. Walls has shut down his Kickstarter and opened up a new website for the game.

In short, there's no deadline anymore (only milestones denoted by varying monetary amounts) and any donation will net you a DRM-free digital download copy of the game.

This assumes it ever reaches its $400,000 full game mark, of course.

All bonuses have been removed and regardless of what you donate, you won't get any extra items or bonuses. So the person who gives Walls $100,000 gets the same reward as someone who donates $1.

Now I realize donating to a project like this shouldn't be about "what can I get out of it," but I think those incentives were good ways to get people to pay more.

I originally donated $60 to Walls' Kickstarter. Why? Because I wanted to help fund it, but also because I'd get a mention in the "special thanks" area of the game credits. Was that narcissistic of me to want that? Maybe, but I was also paying more than the amount needed to get a copy (which at the time was $19).

Now that $1 will get me the game and there are no other bonuses to be gained, I don't know what I'll pay. Considering there's no deadline on contributing now, maybe I'll wait and see if this project even gets to the first milestone (which is $25,000) before I donate.

I don't think I'll donate; not for now, at least. To say that I don't like how this game is being handled, at least in regard to the community, is an understatement.

Yeah, well, #$%^ that.

Good luck to them. But seeing the nightmare of the Kickstarter campaign they did, I do NOT have ANY faith. Especially on something that has no deadline.

It did not even reach 25,000 with Kickstarter... so...

Don't hold your breath. Despite our "disputes" from time to time, I love having you around!

This. Totally. Wise words, Tawm.

I sincerely hope that you can turn this thing around, Rudy, at least concerning the amount and the quality of information we're going to get, but for now, like I said before, I'm not going to donate even a dollar.
