From the New Orleans Times-Picayune...

Post by Rath Darkblade »

...many of you will remember the New Orleans Times-Picayune as the newspaper that gives Gabe his daily horoscope in GK1. :)

Well, on January 17, 2011, there was a football game between the Jets and the Patriots. The Times-Picayune was apparently so flabbergasted by game that the next day, they were reduced to describing it in pure gibberish - either that or the proofreaders had gone on strike...! :P See for yourselves...

Looks like after misspelling "here" and "balls", somebody went berserk! :) Look at how all the letters after R are on the A to L line on your keyboard.

A major Dutch newspaper once managed to write "IJffeltoren" instead of "Eiffeltoren" on the front page, in a text about the famous building. It went by all the proofreaders somehow.

I think this may have been one of those "My cat just walked all over my keyboard" moments. Then again, maybe not, given that all the letters are from the A-to-L line of your keyboard, as BBP mentioned. :)

Quite surprising that it slipped through.
