What, no mention of "Quest for Glory"? :( All the other classic Sierra quest games get a mention, but not QfG. Why not? :(

Two pieces of this article stand out for me ...
Ken Williams on the other hand, wasn’t a storyteller, but some computer programming experience.
Ken Williams ... was ... programming experience? :|
The story about Victoria Morsell, a book author...
What other kind of author can there be? A film author? A play author? ;)

I hope I'm not coming across as cocky or arrogant. Of course a lot of heart went into this article, I understand that. But I've worked in proofreading for over 10 years, and helped proof-read and correct some books whose authors went on to publication (either self-publication, indie, or through the big publishing houses). ;) So things like this jump out at me and wave a metaphorical flag. :)

Pretty sure the Ken Williams thing meant to read as:

Ken Williams on the other hand, wasn’t a storyteller, but had some computer programming experience.

As for the author, since I am not familiar with Victoria Morsell (off hand) without cheating (googling), I am not sure what was intended there.

I think Victoria Morsell was the main character in "Phantasmagoria". :)

Regardless, what kind of author can you be, other than one who writes books? If you write plays, you're a playwright. If you write films, you're a script writer. The word "author" doesn't come into it. ;)

Oh, yeah. Duh. Sorry, your quote removed the context and brain refused to work.

No, Victoria Morsell played the main character in Phantasmagoria. The character's called Adrienne Delaney.

hmm guess that that script was in vain...

It's a charming article but there's quite a couple of misses... "For example, the first King’s Quest game was one of the first point and click games. "
There's a new script around: PHANTASMAGORIA - A Puzzle Of Flesh! Check the Script Party topic in the Bard's Forum!

Script wasn't in vain. Just because I didn't read it. I've not read about 40 books I've bought.

And I think that's what Rath was implying is that she was the main actress.
