King's Quest for Glorious Leisure Space Police. King Graham, the QfG Hero, Leisure Suit Larry, Roger Wilco, and Sonny Bonds all squabble about who should be the hero. All the villains "Mwa-ha-ha" a lot and take over the entire world. :P It is up to you, [Insert Name Here], to save the day. (Yes, again).

King’s Quest IX: Familiarity Breeds Contempt: After a significant period of no kidnapping or turmoil, the royal family begins to grow sick of one another, cooped up in the castle with no crises to distract them.

Glad to see this thread surface again. Always a nice source of humor. :D

Side note - I'd gladly kidnap Rosella... RAWR! :D

(I'm now flagged by the FBI, because of the "I'd gladly kidnap" phrase)

King's Quest X: Familiarity Breeds Contretemps. It feels like a re-run of King's Quest IX, but the arguments are minor this time.

Rosella accuses Alexander of leaving the toilet seat up.
Valanice complains that Graham goes on quests all the time and never sends her as much as a postcard.
Alexander grumbles that Graham is never there for him, not even to take him to the ball game.
And Rosella blames Valanice for never teaching her about boys.

Eventually the post of Royal Psychologist is created ... and he also has to go on a quest: get the royal family to get along and stop driving him nuts!

I notice we haven't had anything here for a while. Let's try again ... ;)

King's Quest XI: Familiarity Breeds Attempt. The royal family members try to get along. Leading to ...

King's Quest XII: Familiarity Breeds Familiarity. Alexander rescues Rosella from the clutches of some evil wizard. Instead of a tearful reunion and hugging, Alex says "Hey sis", and Rosella says " 'Sup, bro."

Lighthouse II: Lost in the Myst. Let's pretend the "Myst" is a typo and sell as many copies as we can before we recall them. Then the copies with the "Myst" typo will be worth more and create additional hype. Content of the game? Make it the same. Pretty much Myst but more impossible. Drag in that Tawmis guy as a consultant. I heard he's struggling...

 Never played Lighthouse. I tried Myst, but it confused the heck out of me.

King's Quest: The Rinse-less Bride. Rosella's about to get married - but first, she needs a shower. (Hey, she walked and swam all over the place in KQ4, plus got swallowed by a whale -- don't tell me she smells minty-fresh). =P

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounged Lizards. Exactly like LSL1, except ... when Larry enters the disco, all the swingers are replaced by Lizard-Men. And Fawn doesn't mind.

And an unusually serious one ...

Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Dead Angel. Sonny finally finds the criminal mastermind ... but someone's already killed him. Who's killing criminals in Lytton?

Leisure Suit Larry 1: Damn The Disco. It's Dance, Dance Revolution, but with 1980 graphics! And the higher the score, the more clothes the 80s pixled ladies take off! So dance, baby, dance!

*snerk* ;)

Um, I'm pretty sure that it's pixelated, not pixled. I could be wrong, though.

How about "pixie-lated"? That's what happens when a pixelated gnome comes on screen, but later when it's supposed to. ;)

You're right. Not paying attention.

But I'd market it as "Pixel-Dated." :D

No worries. How about "pixel-grated"? That's what happens when the graphics are put through the grater, and you get one pixel at a time. Make the artists grate again! :D

Codename: DICEMAN. Johnny Westland becomes addicted to playing dice, and spends the whole trip gambling. Then he meets a man wearing an off-white leisure suit.

Yeah he'd hate dice after Codename: Iceman. :D
