I wonder if it will allow keyboard input?

> LOOK ROOM
You see a large coffin.
> OPEN COFFIN
A vampire leaps out and eats you. And that's the tooth.

Thank you for playing Mystery House 2, made by the Two Guys from Andromeda. Maybe next time you won't make such bone-headed decisions.

And we were just talking about the rights to Laura Bow. So how does this work? Their website says "Mystery House® is a registered trademark of MMMera, Inc", so did they purchase the rights to the game at some point? I know Sierra sold off some of their IP, like LSL, but I couldn't find anything about Mystery House.

Mystery House was released into Public Domain for the 7th anniversary of Sierra.

Moved from the KQ forum as Mystery House has nothing more to do with King's Quest other than it is the game that started Sierra. The closest that any of the Hi-Res Adventures comes to King's Quest is The Wizard and the Princess, which KQ5 borrowed much of the plot line from and a town by the name of Serenia.

Ah, good move. I'd put it in KQ, since it was Ken & Roberta's first game (and the KQ forum seemed the most centric) - but Other Sierra Games definitely is the better fit. :D

No problem. Just trying to keep things tidy.

I did not know that. Nice that they did it only a few years after its release.
