I am quite cross, literally means the swords how they're positioned on the wall. But could also indicate Penelope's attitude that Freddy keeps getting in the way of things!
I will cut you down, well, because if you do poorly, it is indeed the sword in her hand that cuts you down.
You won't see me till the end is a reference that even though you can see the school from the very start, you never go inside until the very end.
To use and defend is to use against her, and to defend yourself against her.

Hmm, I just rewatched the ending of GK3 and realised how open-ended it is. What was in that note Grace left Gabriel? What happened? What's going on?

I just realised that game was made in 1997. It's been - what - 27 years since? And still we have no closure for Gabriel and Grace. Sigh.

There was supposed to be a fourth one that was hinted at in Gabriel's computer. The first one dealt with voodoo, the second dealt with werewolves, and the third dealt with vampires. Supposedly, the fourth one would deal with ghosts.

I will think of something shortly.
