That clue doesn't help much. The video that starts before Act 1 is in the Schattenjager Castle, where Gabriel is. And you've told me that you can be seen before the villagers come to see Gabriel.

As for "starting" Chapter 1, I guess this could be open a little bit to interpretation. If you want to be absolutely strict, then no, it is not in that video because it is part of Chapter 1. There is another video that you are missing.
