Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father has been added to the program. They actually did something useful. They added the option to use either DOSBox or ScummVM as the emulator. I know that people have been complaining about the game executable being removed from ScummVM games making DOSBox not an option. This is the full changelog:

1.1 GOG v2 changelog (29 October 2026):
  • Added the DOS version running on DOSBox with a tuned configuration, booting in VGA mode just as it did back in 1993.
  • Added the Windows version running on ScummVM with its own tuned configuration, booting in SVGA mode.
  • Added a launcher, so picking between the two takes one click.
  • Added the GOG Game Configurator, your one stop shop for tweaking DOSBox and ScummVM settings without touching a config file.
  • Turned subtitles on by default in both versions. No more missing a line of that excellent voice cast.
  • Updated the in game hints to point you toward the included goodies, since the original Sierra hint line and printed manual pages are long gone.
  • Added Cloud Saves support to both versions.
  • Added the Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers graphic novel as a downloadable goodie.
  • Added the Gabriel Knight making of documentary as a downloadable goodie.
  • Added the original Gabriel Knight trailer as a downloadable goodie.
  • Validated stability.

Wonder why not VESA for DOSBox instead of VGA?

Good question. Unless they meant that VGA was an option if you choose to play it that way. GOG included the EGA version of PQ3 in their bundle. Why play with inferior graphics? Maybe for nostalgia if that's the version someone had originally.

I remember playing wit Vesa in DOSBox gave me speed issues, maybe they were unable to fix that...
