Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry delisted
Just to let everyone know, "Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry" and "Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice" are being delisted from Steam and GOG, well, today. I've never played them and I'm pretty sure they suck, but I just thought I would put this out there since it probably will be gone forever after today. They're ~$1.50 each on GOG right now so if you don't have them and are a completionist, today's your last chance.

This happens with some games. The license expires and the game gets pulled from marketplaces.Tawmis wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2026 10:53 amI wonder why they're getting pulled?notbobsmith wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:51 pm Just to let everyone know, "Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry" and "Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice" are being delisted from Steam and GOG, well, today. Usually it's one or the other, not usually both STEAM and GOG, though? Or am I misremembering?notbobsmith wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2026 12:39 amThis happens with some games. I don't think it matters. It's the developers that lost the license, so the games have to be removed from all storefronts.

Hmm - I have both games and played them. They don't suck as such, but -- I don't know -- the 'magic' (if I may say so) is gone. There are some good laughs, but otherwise the games rely mostly on single-entendres, rather than the double-entendres that made the originals funny.
I can't find ANY LSL at all on Steam anymore, which is weird.
What's even weirder is that on GOG, WWDD and WWDT are not listed, but "Magna Cum Laude: Uncut and Uncesored!" is still on sale, which makes me sick (not literally, of course). MCL is a much worse game than either WWDD and WWDT. Bleh.
