Wonderful ... I've never played Codename: Iceman, so I don't know anything about it except that it's very difficult or even impossible.

I don't know the main character's name, or any other characters' names, or what happens in it or anything. And the walk-through doesn't really help, because it doesn't give me any of that information.

The earring thing always bugged me. I mention this in my playthrough a while back, but she loses the earring that contains microfilm that Westland needs. She loses it and Westland finds it. But this isn't a "dead drop" like in a spy movie. He has no idea who she is. So she apparently simply lost the microfilm containing earring.
