They sing that song and the dated reference would fit.
No (at least not in any way that I can think of. I wasn't thinking of them.)

Dated reference
All right - so let's go back to the basics instead of trying to be fancy. :)

Is t a game with "Quest" somewhere in the title?

Is made under the SIERRA brand specifically (rather than Dynamix, etc)?

Yes, but doesn't the fact that it is a "Quest"-titled game confirm that? I can't think of any Dynamix games with "Quest" in the title.

Not entirely. Space Quest V was under the Dynamix flag. :)

It's in the credits at the end.

If I remember correctly, because Mark Crowe was over at Dynamix at the time.

Is the game setting earth or "earth-like" (e.g. Daventry or Glorianna)?

Wouldn't "earth-like" be any game? What do you define as "earth-like"?

Having land? Water? Citizens that breathe?

That'd include things like Torin's Passage too, no?

I can't think of a Sierra game that doesn't have a "earth-like" setting that has "Quest" in the title. :D

Yes, though Tawmis brings up a good point. If you are going to include Daventry and Glorianna, you also have to include most of the Space Quest planets as well.

By "earth-like", I mean land, flowing water (e.g. rivers/brooks/seas etc.), and air you can breathe without a space suit. By that definition, Space Quest is right out (except one planet in SQ5). :)

Daventry (King's Quest) and Glorianna (Space Quest) are in, as well as the various LSL games (but obviously LSL games don't have the word "Quest" in the title).

Tawm, Torin's Passage might be "earth-like", but it doesn't have the word "Quest" in the title.

Anyway. Are you anywhere in Glorianna? ;)

Space Quest wouldn't be out. There isn't a planet where Roger needs a "space suit." The only real space suit he wears is outside (SQ1 start) and then, I guess, when he goes inside the body in SQ6.

Other than that, every planet I can think of, Roger is walking around with no helmet on and his brown (or blond) hair is clearly seen.

Yes, but there is still no flowing water around (except for that one planet in SQ5), and the atmosphere is either too cold or too hot without protective equipment.

Obviously, earth-like also doesn't include space monsters, but I'm prepared to be lenient there. After all, what challenge would there be without space monsters? ;)
