It'd be pretty easy to include a death message.

You buy a bunch of drinks, and then someone (I can't remember who) mentions that - oh my gosh! We switched shifts! - so you rush back to the station. (Whether Sonny is drunk or not depends on how many drinks he's had). Then you show up to the briefing. Here we have four possible cases:
1. If Sonny drank nothing, the game continues as normal.
2. If Sonny is tipsy (e.g. 1-2 beers), one of the other cops says (after the briefing) "I see you had a good time at the party!" or words to that effect.
3. If Sonny is drunk (e.g. 3-4 beers), the sergeant rebukes him for showing up to work drunk ... and it's game over.
4. If Sonny is wasted (e.g. over 4 beers) ... he doesn't even make it to the briefing, but crashes his car or falls flat on his face in the police station. Game over.
Yes, I know that 3-4 beers doesn't sound like a lot to be drunk on. But remember, the party only lasts maybe 2-3 minutes (game time) or maybe 10-20 minutes ("real" time). Anyone who drinks 3-4 beers in 10-20 minutes will be in no state to drive, let alone work.

What do you think?

Anyway, let me see. *thinks ... thinkthinkthink*

OK, I got one.
If you're lucky, you'll see me;
If you're mucky, you'll be me;
If you're trucky, you won't.
Guess away!
