Quest for Glory 3. The Simabni (tribesmen of the Savannah) are very fond of war dances. Rakeesh mentions this to the hero, who decides to try a square dance. He calls out:

Start this game and dosi-do -
This game's in DOS, so away we go!

The Simbani are happily dancing, even though they don't understand what square-dancing or DOS is. The hero senses their confusion and decides to up the ante.

Swing your partner, hit him in the face
Run with scissors all over the place
Fight the Leopardmen, blow out their brains
Have a war and die insane...

At this point, everyone is giving the hero a "WTF?" look. He says lamely "Ummm... dosi-do?" and dies of embarrassment.

In Manhunter, the Manhunter decides to "quiet quit". He ends up being fired... as in he is set on fire.

After locating the dagger in the hole in King's Quest 1, Graham returns to the King, to let him know he's still searching for the three items he's been sent to find... When he trips on the red carpet in front of the king, dagger flying out from his hand, striking the king and bringing an early (barely!) end to the King's life... Graham is captured by the guards and given the opportunity to befriend the alligators in the moat.

It doesn't go well.

The hero casts "flame dart" (a kind of miniature fireball) while in the rainforest. It starts a forest fire. Run away! RUN AWAY!!! Too late - the hero is toast.

The hero goes to the market to buy some essentials. Before he pays, he pulls out a rag to shine his coins, so they'll sparkle.

He is immediately arrested for money laundering.

Quest for Glory 4. The hero decides to get a healthy mud bath ... so he jumps into the swamp. (No comment).

In Space Quest III, just after the opening scene, Roger doesn't jump out of his ship; and instead stays in the doorway; and is crushed when the door auto closes again.

Quest for Glory 4. It's time to perform the rituals and awaken the Dark One ... but instead of the normal "Yah, Avoozl", the hero decides to be a 'smart-donkey', and starts with "Bah, Avoozl!"

The Dark One is offended and eats our hero. Serves him right, too - on a bed of basmati rice and with a nice glass of chianti.
