Man, if there was only a website you could use that could help you, or at least NBS narrow things down...

Prior to recently replaying QFG2-4, when you picked things from there, there was a 99% chance I wasn't going to know it because I hadn't played the games in eons. But that didn't stop me from at least trying to narrow things down, if not for myself, then for NBS.

And as NBS said, he hadn't played LSL7 - and yet he got it before me - and I run a Leisure Suit Larry site.

But hey, you wanna give up... you go on and give up. Should I just hand this over to NBS then?

Sigh. Of course I know about Sierra Chest - I looked at the screenshots, the inventory list, the walkthrough, etc. etc.

The main problem is that, since I haven't played the game, everything is very bare-bones here. I have screenshots, yes, but it's hard to know the context of what I'm looking at; and if I guess, I'm likely to get things wrong, and then look like an idiot. But I'll give it a try.

You can find me in multiple locations - There are the mules in the pen and the one you can buy in the fort
But I will only take one of two - You trade the one that you buy with the one that belonged to your brother
I don't want to go into explanations
Because there's so much you have to go through.

I am indeed the branding.

You can find me in multiple locations - The symbol is seen quite a few times throughout the game.
But I will only take one of two - I was implying I'd take if you guessed the brand on either mule (your brother's or the one you buy)
I don't want to go into explanations
Because there's so much you have to go through. - In order to do all of this, to get to where you know to use the brand and swap it out, is an entirely complex thing, and then following the properly branded mule later
