Re: Jones in the Fast Lane.
I remember that game.
I played it when I was a kid. It taught me all about getting an education and finding a job, etc. Of course, real life doesn't work like Jones.
If real life worked like JITFL, I could work as a checker in the grocery store for a week, buy food for 4 weeks (which wouldn't spoil as long as I have a fridge), then take three weeks off to study, then come back to work at the grocery store -- as the MANAGER! -- and no one would say anything!
"Mornin'. I'm the boss now!"
"Nope, you're fired for missing 3 weeks of work..."

Re: Jones in the Fast Lane.
Yeah - one of my friends (I am going to assume Shawn, as he was the one I typically gamed with) had it - I have no idea whatever came of the copy. Usually when he bought a game and didn't want it, or we beat it, he'd hand it to me, or if we didn't go 50/50 on it, sometimes he'd just give it to me. But this game never came into my own possession.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 6:01 pm I remember that game.I played it when I was a kid.
