Sigh ... DAO Addiction

Post by Rath Darkblade »

So ... I forgot how addictive DAO is and played some last night. I was level 13, so I decided to tackle Orzammar. ('Cos I'm a glutton for punishment, of course). :D

Obviously, before tackling Orzammar, I decided to free Shale and take her along (spoiler for those who didn't play DAO. ;)) I started at 7pm ... and didn't finish until 3am. Damn you, EA. *shakes fist* :P

But the other obvious thing is that whenever I try to do something nice, of course, Morrigan doesn't like it.

Does Morrigan have some kind of pathological hatred toward commoners or something? Every time I try helping ordinary people, even if it's for pragmatic reasons, Morrigan snarks at me. :P

I know that she's a survivalist, and witnessed lots of physical and mental abuse at the hands of Flemeth etc... but ... dammit Morrigan! :P

I would say Morrigan was hardened by what you mentioned.

And the change of clothes thing cartoon is probably a reference to every straight male's crush on her.

Men tend to love a damaged woman.

(.... I was one of those who had a mad digital crush on her....)

Actually, the "change of clothes" cartoon is inspired by a line that Morrigan says late in the game - once you arrive in Arl Eamon's estate in Denerim. He's the one that you save from being poisoned.

(I haven't seen this many "REDACTED" stamps since the last time we discussed Veilguard) ;)
