Just finished Beneath A Steel Sky and Lilly Looking Through. Beneath A Steel Sky was disappointing (although I liked the addition of Lady Piermont from the Broken Sword series, plus I understand that BS2 easter egg) - it is difficult but there is a lot of walking around and annoying animation cycles. And waiting for Joey to catch up. Combined with the not working comedy elements, the very brown and unattractive decor and the music that is only good for turning off - not a recommendation from my side.

Lilly was cute, though fairly easy and short. Looks pretty too. At 10 dollars it's rather steeply priced though, especially for its length.

Currently playing: Laser Light, the 1994 game. I only had the shareware back then with the novice levels - even the amateur ones are pretty hard!

Ah, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis! :D I know it well. I also picked it up from GOG, about 2 weeks ago ... and finished it. ;)

(But hey, I first played it when I was about 12 (and didn't speak much English). It made so much more sense this time around!) :D

Just dropped in to thank Collector for his DOSBox installers. My four year-old just finished his first Sierra game today. I was showing him "Ecoquest: The Search for Cetus" on Youtube and he wanted to play the full game with voices, so I dug up the original installation CD to see if it still works, and got it running no problem thanks to this site. My boy loved it so much, we've played it twice since this morning.

Yay for passing the Sierra adventure-game-playing-bug to the next generation! :D That's heartwarming. Thanks, Datadog -- and well done to your son. :)

Somehow, when I uninstalled PS2 for DOS, I managed to throw away too much. Now two of my permanent easy-access games are gone - LSL7 and GK3.

Reinstalled them and I guess I have to play them again. Not that I mind!

I finished LSLVI, still playing Indiana Jones, and play Star Wars: The Old Republic (F2P) MMO every now and then.

I thought there was a rule here about linking to sites containing abandonware and/or ROMs? Regardless, I wouldn't trust most (if any) of the downloads on sites like that have to offer.

Spambots don't read rules. They only read what they want to read.

As for me, I'm playing Age of Empires Definitive Edition and Age of Empires II Definitive Edition. They truly are definitive editions of their originals which I loved playing very much.
