Unless I missed something, I don't think there will be a digital download version at all. Jensen is a bit behind the times. Even if she dislikes digital distribution, it would make sense to have that in addition to hard copies. The game would get wider recognition that way.

What she should do is follow TellTale Games and make deals with Valve. Some of TellTale's games (like Sam & Max) offer "extras" to gamers, specifically those who play Team Fortress 2. I know there's a "Max Hat" and a gun or two that TF2 players could get if they bought the S&M game.

Believe it or not, TF2 players will buy a game for a hat. It's crazy, but it's not unusual for them to pay REAL money through the Steam store to get hats and other times. I wouldn't (especially since it's possible to get these items through random drops during the game), but some people are willing to fork out the dough.

Regarding the game, I've just reached Chapter 3. I've left behind a couple of bonus actions so that, when I replay the game, I will have something new to discover!

Gray Matter PC-Demo is online

The new Top-Adventure Gray Matter by Jane Jensen has been given much credit in the press the last few days. Convince yourself, that the ystical aventure of the attractive Sam Everett and the neurobiologist Dr David Styles deserves it, and download the demo from here.

Apart from the introductory tutorial the complete third chapter is included, in which you go to England with Dr Styles and try to solves the riddles around his deceased wife.

Gray Matter is available for PC and Xbox 360 since 12 November.

A word of warning.

I don't understand why they chose Chapter 3 as the demo one, but if you plan to buy and play the full game, beware: there are a lot of potential spoilers and playing immediately as David will somehow diminish the impact he will make once you play the full-fledged game.
